Our clients recently purchased this home in Briargrove, a sought after community in Uptown Houston. We primarily focused on the shared spaces for the growing family as well as the master bedroom, ensuring the client’s dynamic personalities were reflected throughout.
Their love for street art called for a large Banksy piece in the family room, where we also applied a distressed paint technique to the fireplace brick. Floor to ceiling window treatments elongate and brighten up the space. Gold accents throughout the home tie the spaces together, from the breakfast nook’s glass table and blue chairs to the dining room table’s satin brass stand.
The front room took on the function of a gentleman’s lounge, complete with an area for a whiskey tasting, gaming, and a functional office.
Glamorous light fixtures and pop art, like a portrait of the iconic Prada Installation in Marfa, Texas, liven up the home and allow the family’s personality to shine through.
